• A horse barn and grooms’ quarters from 1920, the interiors work to strike a balance between new and old. The family has a history of conservation and repurposing nature, architecture, and personal possessions. Special attention was given to the design around these values as well as to the memory patterns from the years of living in the house. The result is a collection of eclectic and comfortable surprises filtered through the layering of time and reimagining conventional solutions. Every part of the property has a story to tell, accentuated by each landscape, structure, and the objects contained therein.
